James Squire arrived in convict shackles yet went on to start the colony’s first brewery. To honour this tenacity, we brewed one of the nation’s finest lagers and named it after his ability to hustle and break free of the chains that were supposed to hold him back.
A crisp lager that with a refreshingly clean finish. Brewed using pale and Munich malts combined with noble Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops, Shackles lager pairs well with every occasion.
