When James Squire was caught stealing the ingredients to brew the colony’s first beer, he was punished with 150 lashes of a whip. Thankfully for us, James Squire remained undeterred and kept on brewing, so we named our iconic pale ale in honour of his drive and hustle.
Malted wheat and a mix of hops create aromas with hints of passionfruit, grapefruit & citrus.
