School holidays are approaching and we’re here to help you make it through two weeks of full-time parenting completely whinge-free! There is plenty happening around the city-centre to keep the kids entertained.

Mammoths: Giants of the Ice Age

It’s like Ice Age circa 2002 but better. Discover fossils, life-size replicas and a 42,000 year old real baby mammoth at this exciting exhibition, exclusive to the Australian Museum.

9.30am to 5pm until Sunday 22 July 2018. More information.

Skating At Festival

Think magical lighting, music, fantastic rides including ice slides and jumping castles! Oh, and a pop-up ice-skating rink. We’ll have a hot cuppa waiting for you at The Landing.

Until Sunday 22 July 2018.  More information.

Disney on Ice

No, it isn’t close but, well – Disney. The kids will spend the journey pointing at pointless objects out the window and you may even get some sneaky shuteye while pretending you don’t have any relation to the yelling children on the train. P.S. The closest train station to The Squire’s Landing is Circular Quay.

Wednesday 18 July – Monday 23 July. More information.

Don’t ask, we’ve never heard of it either. All you need to know is that it is at the Opera House which is 1.3km from cold beer at The Squire’s Landing.

Tuesday 17 July – Sunday 22 July 2018. More information.

Bring the whole fam bam because there is something for everyone on our menu! Mum, you’ll love the prawn and claim linguine with chilli, garlic, basil, chardonnay and cherry tomatoes. Dad, give the flatiron steak a whirl. We have kid-ified some of our best-selling dishes so kids 12 and under can have a great experience at The Squire’s Landing too. Think beer battered chips, cheeseburgers and sausages, with ice cream to finish. Did we mention that our staff are fantastic with kids and that lunch for the kids is actually FREE Monday to Friday?
