It’s been more than twelve months in the making but the team behind Brisbane’s only James Squire brewhouse are excited to finally announce the opening of The Charming Squire’s sister venue in Sydney. The Squire’s Landing is the most recent addition and will be the eighth James Squire brewhouse in Australia. It is being built at one of Australia’s most iconic sites, the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay, which is also where the founding father of Australian brewing, James Squire, arrived on the First Fleet in 1788. It only seemed fitting for The Squire’s Landing to be where James Squire first set foot on Australian soil all those years ago.

Similar to other James Squire brewhouses, the venue will also offer the entire James Squire range on tap with James Squire Limited Releases, brewed at Malt Shovel Brewery, also available on tap. The Squire’s Landing will operate its own microbrewery within the space, providing not only a visual spectacle for customer, but exclusive ‘small batch brews’ to enjoy. These small batch brews will be available exclusively in-house at The Squire’s Landing.

The Squire’s Landing will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner plus everything in between. Leveraging off the successes of The Charming Squire in Brisbane, The Squire’s Landing will offer the same top-quality food and polished service. An emphasis on sourcing local produce will ensure that the same paddock to plate ethos is evident throughout the bar and restaurant.

An open date is yet to be confirmed however Sydney-siders can expect beers to be pouring by April 2018.
