Out with the old and in with the new! Winter has arrived and so has The Charming Squire’s winter menu. have  Using local and seasonal produce, Executive Chef Deniz Coskun, together with Sous Chef Nick Baker and The Charming Squire’s Head Chef Alexander Bartkowiak, have put together a menu full of exciting dishes sure to warm the soul.

On the Restaurant menu diners will reinvented dishes such as the Crispy Skin Chicken Breast with celeriac puree, smoked tomato, pumpkin, baby cabbage and crisp prosciutto. On the Bar menu, a Southern Fried Chicken Waffle Burger is now available. Not for the fainthearted, the waffle burger contains twice smoked bacon, cheese, lettuce, chipotle mayo and is served with chips for good measure. The dessert offering is just as sweet and tantalising as always and The Charming Squire’s Molten Malteser Soufflé (Restaurant menu only) is fast becoming a favourite amongst our regular diners.  The soufflé is served with chocolate & malt sauce, Malteser crumb, milkshake & salted caramel swirl ice cream and just like its waffle burger counterpart, is probably best shared between two to prevent any sort of heart attack from occurring.

If any (or all) of the above seem just a little too decadent, we got you! As always, there are also a number of dishes available for our vegetarian, gluten-intolerant or celiac friends. Think Haloumi Salad with radish, chicory apple, candied pecans and mayonnaise dressing or Baked Camembert with James Squire Nine Tales Amber Ale, onion & grape must chutney and assorted breads. Finish it off with a humble piece of Apple Tarte Tatin with Calvados caramel and rum & raisin ice cream from no other than the best ice cream suppliers in town, Lick!
