Mad Brewers Orchard Ale is not available in Hervey Bay. In fact, none of the James Squire products are available on tap, and only a few of the liquor outlets stock the bottled nectar in this town. I was told by staff at our local Dan Murphy’s that Mad Brewers Orchard Ale is released to the independants first; but there has been no sign of it anywhere. As one of a group of ale drinkers, and a particular fan of James Squire ales; am I ever likely to get to try the Mad Brewers Orchard Ale, and am I ever likely to be able to the Amber Ale on tap? I don’t know if this is the right forum to ask questions such as I have, but if it’s not, perhaps someone in the know might read this and give the James Squire drinkers of Hervey Bay some reason to hope.
    Cheers,

    Rod

I tasted this for the first time on Sunday.

It was great and reminded me of a british ’snakebite’.

Since that drink the world has become a different place for me. It is now a world that has Orchard Ale in it. But now every moment is a moment that I do not have an orchard ale in my hand.

  7. Meska says:

Vintage Cellars Newtown (NSW) has a stash of Orchard Ale which is about to run out for the lovers out there :)

  8. Bob says:

Trying to find some more Mad Brewer’s Orchard Ale - an excellent drop, but seems local supplies are dried up (local being Bathurst NSW)

  9. Matt Bennetts says:

Dan Murphy’s stores stock the Orchard Ale. I’m at Midland W.A and we still have stock :) so buy up!!!!
