Perth’s very own James Squire venue ‘The Generous Squire’ is now open for all beer lovers to come enjoy a perfect pint of our various superb ales and lagers.
Located on the corner of Murray Street and Shafto lane ‘The Generous Squire’ features the full range of James Squire beers and is the only venue in WA you can enjoy a pint of James Squire I.P.A. on tap. We have our Melbourne Brewhouse’s Dockland’s Pale Ale available too!
As well as unique, award winning beers there is a fantastic food offering at the venue with dishes created to complement specific beers. Try a ‘chilli prawn pizza’ with a pint of James Squire Pilsener or the ‘Convicts Tucker Bag’ with a pint of James Squire Amber Ale.

Called in with a couple of friends on Wednesday. The service was great the food was good and the beers were excellent. Too nice , we didn’t want to leave.

We went there on a Saturday night for a feed and a beer to send a mate off. THe service was great, atmosphere relaxing and the place to notch. We will be back thats for sure, the only thing there could be some more vegiterian options but apart from that it was an excellent experience.
I collect beer glasses does anyone know where you can buy the James Squire ones in WA, I asked at the Generous Squire and they said soon but always looking to add more to my collection. I was fortunate enough to get some from the Sydney Micro Brewery in Darling Harbour
How thick can a person get??? I have just spent the last two weeks in south-west WA, searching Margaret River for micro breweries. I spent three days in Perth at the Ibis, and completely missed finding The Generous Squire, one block away. (Sigh!!!)
Would the Generous Squire consider filling one or more of my Cornelius kegs so I can enjoy a James Squire brewer beverage at home? Please tell me the Generous Squire makes a killer steak sandwich! No better pug grub than a killer steak sandwich.
