The Sundeck is the highest hotel in Australia - 1769 metres above sea level. Only open in winter it is snowbound and guests arrive by snowcat; patrons ski or board in during the day to visit the bar.
The bar has James Squire beers exclusively on tap – Golden Ale, Pilsener, Amber Ale and Porter. It is a very popular spot for lunch and après ski. There is a regular entertainment programme including the famous Tuesday comedy night - one of the longest running comedy rooms in the country.
At lunchtime they have a gourmet sausage sizzle plus soups and specials.
Chuck Hahn and the team from MSB regularly do a beer tasting dinner with all proceeds going to the Australian Cross Country ski team.
