Rundells Alpine Lodge has a colourful history in the high country dating back to 1904. The Rundells family ran the original lodge only 5km down the road from where Rundells Alpine Lodge stands today.
Like the original lodge, today Rundells is a family run business, has a first class dining room and hosts leisure and business travellers as they pass through the high country. The 4 star guest rooms have recently been renovated and you can enjoy local produce at the in house restaurant Graze. The Bar and Paddock has the largest tap beer selection in Dinner Plain including James Squire Golden Ale and Pilsener, a fantastic range of cool climate wines and a large drinks lounge warmed by a massive open fireplace, nothing is quite as traditional as an evening at Rundells. After a hard day on the slopes or out on the alpine tracks, relax and enjoy a cold beer in the Paddock with an antipasto plate, or curl up with a hot gluhwein by the fire.
